Journey Begins Here

I always put a lot point of interest toward foreign languages. Don't mistaken me from being unpatriotic. I still proud with my own mother tongue. But we should expand our knowledge more beyond, shouldn't we? People says that I'm good at English. But to be honest, I can't speak English fluently. Maybe because there's no one around me to be able to talk to. And lately, I've been trying to learn Arabic and Spanish. The reason I want to learn them is both of these languages support one of the widest community in the world. Let's say Spanish. They don't use Spanish here, obviously. But look at Latin America. Almost half of the people of Latin America speak Spanish (except in Brazil and some former colonies of another country). Not to mention the former colonies of Spain across the globe.

For the Arabic, it's the language of the second biggest religion in the world. And it's widely dispersed across North Africa and Middle-East. Actually, Mandarin is the second most used languages after English. But somehow, I never take any likings toward Eastern Asia languages (Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, etc). I know Arabic too has different writing system, but it's just as simple as I don't like meat. There's no specific reason. Oh yeah, learning foreign languages does have many benefits. One such as you could get more foreign friends, and it means you have a wider social links than those whose only learn English as their second language. For the future plan, after I've strengthen my English, I'm going to learn Arabic and Spanish until I speak both of them quite fluent. Then I'm going to learn Russian, since it looks harder than the other three.
