Yep! Finally, after a long time of confusing moment for deciding which one the path I must take, I'm going to be an aviator. Yes, not a pilot, but an aviator. Pilot is a wider term that refers to aircraft pilot, marine pilot, locomotive pilot, and many more. But to be more specific, those who engaged in aircraft called an aviator. The reasons I want to become an aviator are first, You could travel to any place (not any place at all, just the airports) and paid! Second, who doesn't want to fly. Back in the past, flying is expressed as a form of freedom and adventure. Third, the advantage of getting new friends across the globe. The last, becoming an aviator is a self-pride. But, in order to become an aviator, you must go to the flight academy. There are many flight academy across Indonesia. If you prefer a low budget school, you should try AURI or STPI, since they're owned by country. If you want a fast track for getting a job, you could try those flight academies that have signed contract with airlines. Myself choose the second option, although the cost is much more expensive than the first option. The only similarity is that the entry tests are horrible, both of them! Sigh... Godspeed for me.
